A beautiful and exciting way for all the family to follow the Nativity story outdoors as darkness falls. You'll meander through the gardens singing carols to live music as you travel, past trees and shrubs magically glittering with twinkling lights. All Hallows’ Hoolies in Radipole Gardens; 100 Free Pumpkins With a 450 Twist.
A 450 twist on one of our popular annual events. As part of Weymouth's 450 celebrations we bring you our All Hallows' Hoolie. We have 100 free pumpkins to be carved and displayed. As darkness falls they will be lit and displayed along the pathway. Prizes awarded to the three best carved pumpkins. Once the free pumpkins have gone, they've gone. Please note this year there will be a queuing system to allocate one pumpkin per child and a carving station with tools to work at. We're back! After what seems an eternity we are finally back in the park and gardens and working on events. Our first is the popular Band in the Park, when Weymouth Concert Brass Band gets everyone toe tapping along to a wide selection of music. Hearts Trail
Hearts Trail Weymouth Town Council has teamed up with Westfield Arts College to create a temporary trail for local people in Radipole Gardens. Anyone visiting the gardens over the next few weeks can’t help but notice some colourful additions to this peaceful community space. Hand-painted hearts have been positioned around the gardens in time for the Easter holidays. Perfect for taking the family on a heart hunt in the great outdoors, see how many of them you can find. Plant Sale Well, it’s that time of year again folks, plants have taken over my life again. My greenhouse bursting at the seams, with random tiers of planks precariously suspended from its roof, holding precious trays of pricked out babies. As far as my other half is concerned, he’s pleased that the weather remains on the slightly chilly side otherwise these ever increasing trays of botanical offerings would be marching their way down the drive.
