Harry Lauder’s Walking Stick, Scones and Home Made Sausage Rolls?
You might be wondering what connection these eclectic objects have with Radipole Gardens.
Well here’s the answer.
On Saturday 19th May we are having our Plant and Gardens sale in Radipole United Reformed Church between 10am and 12 noon.
Not only will there be a great selection of plants available…
…trays of annuals to peruse.
From Cosmos to Foxgloves.
An assortment of succulents.
Gardening books for those answers needed.
Other gardening related items such as these beautiful creations from Het’s Handmade stall.
Then we come to these bad boys…
Corkscrew hazel!
Thick long branches contorted and curling hither and thither, many are over 6 foot tall. (And very heavy!)
Perfect for any creative soul out there who loves something different.
Great for interior design, shop displays, flower arranging, making wands, or any manner of general creative ideas.
Normal twigs of Corkscrew hazel are very hard to come by, as many people have informed me, so make sure you don’t miss out on these monsters.
And the scones and home made sausage rolls?
Well, of course, what would an event be without the usual refreshments, so come along to enjoy a cuppa and partake in a snack on some delicious home made sausage rolls or if your teeth prefer sweeter treats, some scrummy scones.
Free entry so what’s to lose?
The early bird catches the twigs 🙂
See you there.
