Plants Galore Sausage Rolls and Sensory Gardens
Nope, I’m not having one of my dizzy moments. i’m hoping some of you good folk will come along and help us for a variety of reasons.
This coming Saturday 18th May is our annual plants sale in the Radipole United Church hall on Spa Road 10-12.
The first good reason to help is that it will be a day when my hubster jumps for joy…not because he loves buying plants but because it’s the day when he gets his garden back!
An all-encroaching march of plants have been slowly but surely taking over our deck,
patio, table and chairs.
I assure him that after this weekend we will once again be able to sit in our garden unmolested by foliage and watering cans.
He will regain access to his dedicated gravel space where his precious BBQ resides
and we’ll be able to sit outside at our table to dine al fresco.
So please, please, please folks come along and divest us of some of these beauties at our plant sale, if I have to bring any home I’m not sure my hubster will be joining me. 😉
Of course, all this tongue in cheek aside, any funds raised from this sale go towards our planned Sensory Garden which will start this autumn.
It’s free entry, there’ll be refreshments including Mike’s mouthwatering, fresh baked on the premises sausage rolls.
There’ll be a ‘donate for pots’ table, lots of recycled containers to be had, just pop your donation in the pot and off you go.
All manner of gardening bits to set you up for the season.
Jackie Rockett will be there also with her stall.
So please pop along to say hi, have a browse, have a buy, settle down with a cuppa for a natter with friends, no matter the reason why you come along we’d love to see you.
