Easter Egg Hunt;SADLY CANCELLED DUE TO PROLONGED HEAVY RAINS AND LYING SURFACE WATER.

UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE HAD TO MAKE THE DECISION TO CANCEL THIS EVENT FOR NOW DUE TO PROLONGED WET WEATHER AND LYING SURFACE WATER.

THE TREASURE HUNT WILL GO AHEAD AT OUR NURTURE NATURE AND WELCOME WILDLIFE EVENT ON SATURDAY 14TH APRIL

Well…here we go folks, the long list of outdoor events is cracking on nicely.

First up of our venture into the wild outdoors is our annual Easter Egg Hunt in the gardens, which of course will be on a warm and sunny day.

Lots of family fun to be had.

Come decked out in your best Easter Bonnets or Caps a prize for the best and most innovative designs.

(Last years winners with their well earned booty.)

Your favourite cuddlies not to be missed out either…Best Dressed Bunnies (or any manner of cuddly toy ) welcome along, they too can win a prize.

Then of course, there’s at the fun of the Egg Hunt, though, I’ll let you into a little secret,  it’s not actually the eggs you’re seeking…it’s treasure!

Haarr..haarr me hearties, you be looking’ for ’em gold, silver and bronze tags that do be ‘idden around the gardens by some dastardly folk.

Then ye ‘ave to seek for thee answers to many a question.

Tis a hard ole life being an egg hunter…but everyone do wins their pieces of eight.

Tired of racing around the gardens, looking for something more sedate?

Why not try your hand at Dabbling for Duckies or Splatting the Ratties.

(No real animals were harmed in the process)

Thirsty work this fun business, grab a cuppa and a cake…hot and cold refreshments being served, along with ice creams from Sarah’s Sundaes.

So you see, it’s not a day to be missed…See you all there.
